Renovating Locksmith Van: An Exciting Overhaul Project

Hello everyone! I’m Terry from Mr. Locksmith, and I’m excited to share with you an upcoming project that we’re embarking on. As a locksmith service company, our service trucks are vital to our daily operations, and today I want to take you through the exciting transformation we’re planning on one of our older locksmith trucks.

Sourcing and Preparation

One of the key steps in this project was sourcing the right tools and equipment. We didn’t just rush out and buy everything at once; instead, we patiently waited for Milwaukee special deals at different companies and even the big box hardware stores. By strategically hitting these sales, we were able to maximize our investment, often scoring free batteries with our purchases. This approach helped us gather everything we need bit by bit.

Upgrading Locksmith Service Truck

The truck we’re upgrading has served us well over the years, but it’s gotten to the point where it’s just too cluttered to work out of efficiently. So, we’ve decided it’s time for a complete overhaul. Initially, we’re planning on installing about eight packout boxes in our locksmith truck, and possibly more in our van. Plus, we have a brand new pickup truck, a 2024 model, on its way that will also be part of this project.

Milwaukee Packout Locksmith Setup

 I’m Terry from Mr. Locksmith. We’re going to actually I bought all these, we bought these bit by bit. If you hit the Milwaukee special deals when they’re at different companies or even the big box hardware stores, what we did is we maximize, we hit the minimum we could buy and then get free batteries.

We’re going to upgrade one of our locksmith service trucks. It’s done in the traditional way and it’s just full of, it just can’t work out of it anymore. So we’re going to modify that. I think we’re going to put about eight boxes in our locksmith truck, maybe more in our van. We have a pickup truck coming as well and we’re going to do that.

We’re going to put all packouts right off the bat. That’s a brand new pickup truck. 2024 we’re just waiting for it to come in. So we went with the packout drawers We want to maximize our our space and we have lots of little bits and pieces. So this should solve the problem show you the video of the way it is now.

It’s super busy truck. So it’s a real mess So we’re going to spend the next the weekend here. We’re going to gut it throw this in reorganize everything inside So there’s going to be a whole pile of videos on this. So stay tuned  Have some fun. We paid for this. This was, none of this was given to us for free.

We bought everything, but we did get some special deals because they were running some specials and we just hit the specials and we got everything. So standby, have lots of fun. You’ll see how we modify our old. Older locksmith truck and you’ll see it’s traditional shelving and whatnot. It’s the way we’ve always done it, but we’re going totally I’m  going to convert it bit by bit into totally pack out
