Required Door Prep

Before installation, your door must already have the correct holes drilled:

2-1/8″ (54mm) hole for the deadbolt
1″ (25mm) cross-bore on the edge of the door

Step 1: Installing the Inside Plate

The Schlage Home Front kit includes an interior mounting plate. Schlage makes this easy by clearly marking:

“Against Door”
